David 's Story
Life
I have three sons and a daughter, Chris (Atlanta), Brian (Wake Forest, NC), Scott (California) and Erin (Arizona). Grandson Alec is 15 years old and lives on the eastern shore of Maryland. I am remarried to Pauline Houy, a research scientist at Becton Dickson in the Triangle Research Park. Son, Brian, has two new daughters with wife Melissa, Emma Grace (b 2008) and Piper Rose (b 2010). Son Scott and wife Dana have two sons, Benjamin and Nike Bellasarian. My wife, Pauline, also has four children and is now expecting two grandchildren. e Pileated is a regualr visit to our backyard. We are both actively involved in the Tea Party and in government oversight in NC and have been to most of the rallies in Raliegh and in Washington DC. We are both avid and licensed shooters. I still volunteer some with the Boy Scouts of America and other organizations.
I am retired from the Federal Government--I worked about 38 years for the Social Security Administration and retired 1/1/2000 from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare where I was manager of Nursing Home Regulation and Enforcement. I worked for several years as as a contractor to the Feds, creating reports to Congress on health care providers, was a office manager for a limo company. I hike, camp, canoe, research genealogy, write, read non-fiction and enjoy, family, friends and life in general. I am the NC Commissioner for Clan Bell International and we attend games where we man a Clan Bell Tent and offer information about the Clan and its history.
